July 2010: The Mid-Atlantic Chapter of the GMP TEA, Inc. is working to schedule the next chapter meeting in the Fall of 2010. We need your help to provide a hosting site, a sponsor (pays for food and drink), and a theme for this meeting. The actual date will be determined by the availability of the hosting site. October to early-November is the timeframe we are shooting for to schedule this event. Anyone interested in hosting and/or sponsoring this meeting, please contact Ken Petelinkar <mailto:kenneth.petelinkar@bms.com> . As per the GMPTEA by-laws, attendance at one chapter meeting is required every 24 months to retain Active Member status.

Some of the suggested meeting themes are listed below.

* All about you…the trainer.

* Learn from your peers about training topics of interest (e.g., qualification programs, training tools, LMS platforms, etc.)

* Industry trends, both regulatory and business

* Learn from others about regulatory and business trends in the Life Sciences industry

* Actual training programs that can be used back at work.

* Instructors actually demo their training programs that can be used by others.

* Training delivery trends

* What delivery methods are people using? (Synchronous vs. asynchronous)

* Training Effectiveness

* How are people using Kirkpatrick, Phillips, or other gurus to prove training effectiveness?

Please provide your feedback to the suggested themes to Ken <mailto:kenneth.petelinkar@bms.com> as well. We want to finalize the location, date, and agenda by early August if possible.
